About Bjartur Vest

Bjartur Vest I am a part time photographer, although I consider my self as a semi-pro, as half my income comes from photography. I live in the Faroe Islands, a paradise for photographers and all who love nature. The weather here is dire most of the times, so the moments for nice sunsets is very limited, but when they come, they are spectacular. On the other side, if you want photos of stormy weather, you are in the mix. But you will get wet, and your camera equipment will be as well, not to mention full of salt. Landscapes and action have been my passion throughout the years, but lately I have donee portraits as well. I did not like it at first, but I´m starting to get the hang of it. I still have a long way to go in the portrait area.
